Live-stream presentation and performance of traditional sean-nós songs from the rich singing tradition found in the predominantly Gaeltacht regions of Connacht, Munster and Ulster. This engaging performance will include; information on the background and history of the songs; the regional variations; showcasing the practitioners of the tradition; and performances of a number of the melodic and rhythmic songs. Participants of the live-stream will have the opportunity to ask the performer any questions they may have in relation to this unique Irish singing practice.
